Job Title: Packaging Line Worker** **Job Description

As a Packaging Line Worker, you will be responsible for operating machinery such as slitters, assembling products, labeling, quality control, and packaging. Some roles may require minor setup and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

+ Operate slitters and other machinery as required.

+ Assemble products accurately and efficiently.

+ Label items correctly and ensure quality control standards are met.

+ Package products securely for distribution.

+ Perform minor equipment setup and operation as needed.

Essential Skills

+ At least 6 months of prior warehouse or equivalent experience.

+ Proficiency in machine operation, packaging, assembly, and material handling.

+ Manual dexterity and good coordination.

+ Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work effectively in a team of 2-4 members.

+ Capacity to adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean environment within a team-oriented setting. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, excluding leggings and sweatpants. All necessary PPE such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves must be worn, and you are required to supply your own steel toe boots. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime depending on workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
