MIG Welder – Stainless Steel (Custom Fabrication)

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team and help build custom equipment designed for the demanding conditions of the fertilizer industry. If you prefer hands‑on fabrication over repetitive production work and want a stable role in a relaxed, supportive environment, this position is an excellent fit.
About the Role
As a MIG Welder, you will work on a wide range of custom projects, including fertilizer blenders, mixers, conveyors, bucket elevators, and rotary drums. This role involves stainless steel MIG welding, blueprint interpretation, and fabrication in various welding positions. Every day brings new challenges and new builds—no assembly‑line repetition.
Responsibilities
+ Perform MIG welding on stainless steel sheets to build custom fertilizer bins and related components
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality
+ Weld 1/16" to 1/4" mild and stainless steel using .035–.045 fluxcore hardwire
+ Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
+ Complete custom fabrication projects rather than repetitive production tasks
+ Work in and around tank bays, including confined spaces
Qualifications
+ Welding certification or MIG welding diploma
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Experience with stainless steel MIG welding
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
+ Comfortable working in physically demanding environments

This is a Permanent position based out of Glencoe, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
