Job Title: Shop Service Technician 1st shift - $25-30+/hr Depending on experience!

Job Description

We are seeking skilled mechanics to join our team and assist in the repair and maintenance of our fleet of petroleum and gas trucks. This role involves daily use of hand and power tools, following repair and service procedures to ensure the optimal performance of our vehicles.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports.

+ Inspect trucks and trailers to assess necessary service and repairs.

+ Repair pumps, meters, valves, and piping systems.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.

+ Conduct meter calibrations.

+ Repair 12-volt systems and lights.

+ Perform welding and tank repairs, if applicable.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in repair, service, and maintenance tasks.

+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Knowledge of brakes, suspensions, lights, and body work.

+ Competence in using hand and power tools.

+ Skills in engine troubleshooting and electrical systems.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that is clean and organized, with recent office remodels. While not climate controlled, the facility is equipped with fans and indoor heating for winter. Technicians perform 40-50% of their work outside during favorable weather conditions and will always work indoors during inclement weather such as rain or snow storms.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
