    Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The role involves operating various machinery and performing tasks such as assembly, labeling, quality control, and packaging. You may also be required to perform minor set-up and equipment operation in certain areas.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate slitter and other machinery efficiently.

    + Perform assembly, labeling, and packaging tasks.

    + Conduct quality control checks on products.

    + Handle materials safely and effectively.

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent experience.

    + Manual dexterity and good coordination.

    + Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in machine operation and production environments.

    + Ability to work well in a team setting.

    Work Environment

    Our work environment is clean and organized, with team sizes ranging from 2-4 members. Contractors must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves. Steel toe boots are required and must be provided by the contractor. The work schedule consists of a 1st shift running Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime based on volume.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
