Job Description - Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with a strong foundation in both high and low voltage schematics, drive systems, temperature controllers, and P&ID loops. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of PLC programming and provide phone support and troubleshooting. Familiarity with maintaining electrical systems in compliance with UL and CE standards, as well as a background in ISO 9001, is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize a variety of electrical control devices including Controllers, PLC, SCR, and maintain all electrical systems in compliance with industry standards.

+ Possess knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, VAC, VDC circuits, and 4-20mA and 0-10V loops.

+ Read blueprints and electrical schematics accurately.

+ Fabricate and install parts conforming to Engineering CAD drawings.

+ Analyze needs and product requirements to enhance designs.

+ Provide feedback on potential improvements to the Engineering Department.

+ Perform furnace fieldworks including setups, rebuilds, repairs, installations, and start-ups.

+ Travel for fieldwork is required occasionally (less than 15%) and may involve international travel, requiring a passport.

+ Undertake other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

+ Proficiency in assembly, service, and wiring tasks.

+ Experience in field service and installation.

+ Understanding of electronics and pneumatics.

+ Competence in preventive maintenance.

+ Good interpersonal and people management skills.

+ Proficient in prioritizing and executing tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62240.00 - $87360.00/yr.
