Job Title: Shop Helper** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper with a mechanical inclination and an interest in assisting with the operation of a burn table. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the operation of a burn/laser table.

+ Utilize crane/jib to move plates and cut parts.

+ Manage steel plate inventory.

+ Load and unload machines efficiently.

+ Stack finished parts on pallets.

+ Move inventory using a forklift.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical inclination and aptitude.

+ 1-3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing.

+ Proficiency with hand tools.

+ Basic math comprehension and ability to read measurements on a tape measure.

+ Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.

+ Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Interest in metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing processes.

+ Experience with power tools and steel manufacturing.

+ Familiarity with blueprint reading and fabrication.

+ Knowledge of laser operation, plasma cutting, and burn table functions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
