    Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to lead a team of multi-craft maintenance technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on troubleshooting of machinery, training technicians, and ensuring the effective completion of preventive and proactive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead a team of multi-craft maintenance technicians.

    + Troubleshoot machinery alongside technicians.

    + Train multi-craft technicians effectively.

    + Complete preventive and proactive maintenance as per schedule.

    + Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages.

    + Respond promptly to line stoppages and coordinate necessary mechanical help.

    + Ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment to minimize downtime.

    + Complete all required paperwork and documentation in the CMMS.

    + Repair or maintain operating conditions of industrial machinery.

    + Inspect, assemble, disassemble, and replace machinery components as necessary.

    + Test machinery to diagnose malfunctions using tools like voltmeters.

    + Operate repaired machinery to verify repair adequacy.

    + Analyze test results and error messages to diagnose equipment problems.

    + Inspect machines for conformance with operational and safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.

    + Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.

    + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and control systems.

    + Experience with 3-phase motor controls and low voltage controls.

    + Ability to work with Allen Bradley drives and motor drives.

    + Experience in handling 480V electrical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to pass the Ramsey Mechanical (Electrical) Skills and Aptitude Assessment.

    + Willingness to work flexible hours.

    + Experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

    This position requires night shift work from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility for other hours if needed. The facility is somewhat climate-controlled but can get hotter in the summer and colder in the winter.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greer, SC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
