    Job Title: Operator - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    As an Operator, you will play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of fermentation tanks and food production machinery. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient and safe operation of packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems. You will also perform sanitation duties, accurately weigh or count products, check in and out materials, and complete Disassembly, Clean, Reassembly (DCR) processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for printing labels accurately, conducting minor quality inspections, and recording production data.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery.

    + Perform sanitation duties.

    + Weigh and/or count product accurately.

    + Check in and out materials accurately.

    + Complete Disassembly, Clean, Reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.

    + Print labels accurately.

    + Conduct minor quality inspections of products.

    + Record production data accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing environment (1+ year).

    + Experience with sterilization and quality inspection.

    + LOTO experience (1+ year).

    + Experience operating production machinery in a GMP environment (1+ year).

    + Sanitation duties experience (1+ year).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of fermentation processes.

    + Mechanical skills.

    + Experience in food production.

    + Documentation review skills.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a GMP environment within a climate-controlled facility. Adherence to GMP code is required, including wearing safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, pants without holes, a hair net, and a beard net. Pay up to $24hr

    This is a Contract position based out of Verona, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
