Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist who will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing manual lathes. The ideal candidate will be able to fit parts and hold tolerances within .001-.005 inches, monitor fixturing and work-holding methods, and set up and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines. Additionally, the role involves performing in-process inspections using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands, as well as performing periodic preventative maintenance on equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Operate, maintain, and repair manual lathes.
+ Fit parts and hold tolerance within .001-.005 inches.
+ Monitor fixturing and work-holding methods.
+ Setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines.
+ Perform in-process inspections using standard measuring equipment.
+ Perform periodic preventative maintenance on equipment, including daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in manual machining and operation of turning centers.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with manual mills and lathes.
+ Skill in mill turning and manual lathe operations.

Work Environment
The work environment offers openings on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a 10% shift differential, and on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am with a 15% shift differential. There is potential for overtime on all shifts. Both 2nd and 3rd shifts will include training on days for 2-6 weeks, depending on experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
