• Industrial Maintenance Technician

    Overview

     

    We are seeking a skilled **Maintenance Technician** to join our team in a climate-controlled facility specializing in cosmetic packaging and filling operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment and supporting systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on packaging, filling, and labeling machinery to minimize downtime.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to resolve equipment issues quickly.

    + Inspect and maintain conveyors, pumps, mixers, and automated filling lines for optimal performance.

    + Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment concerns, ensuring smooth workflow.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance.

    + Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies while working in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

    + Assist with equipment changeovers and setup for different product runs.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.

    Qualifications

    + 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical preferred).

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems; basic electrical troubleshooting skills.

    + Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated machinery is a plus.

    + Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Delray Beach, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
