    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    Engage in material handling and machine operation tasks. Package and label finished products, preparing them for shipping. Assist with the setup and operation of automated production machinery that applies weatherizing solutions to large paper rolls used in the construction industry. Contribute to shop cleanup and provide general shop assistance. Operate a forklift to move materials.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

    + Proficiency in forklift operation.

    + Knowledge of machine operation in an industrial setting.

    + General labor and materials handling experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.

    + Ability to work effectively in an industrial environment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an industrial manufacturing setting with heavy machinery. Adhere to safety protocols by wearing personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses. Be prepared to work rotating shifts, with current schedules alternating every 8 weeks between day, swing, and night shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80/hr.
