    Hydraulic Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team in building and assembling utility trucks equipped with hydraulic bucket lifts. These trucks are essential for companies working in telecommunications, construction, tree trimming, and agriculture. Your role will focus on assembling crane and bucket attachments, ensuring the efficient operation of these vehicles.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and build sub-assemblies for utility trucks, focusing on crane and bucket lift components.

    + Test and service truck assemblies, identifying mechanical and hydraulic faults.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components using tools such as multimeters.

    + Document work completed and prepare quotes for necessary repairs.

    + Perform routine vehicle cleaning, including washing and cab maintenance.

    + Assist in the potential future maintenance of truck chassis, body, and engine components.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years experience in a mechanic shop environment.

    + Experience with assembling, installing, and maintaining equipment such as Terex, Altec, or similar crane systems.

    + Proficient in hydraulic equipment and machinery relevant to utility vehicles.

    + Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting using multimeters for voltage and grounding tests.

    + Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with diesel vehicles, including semi-trucks, Peterbilt, Freight Liner, or CAT machinery.

    + Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components of heavy-duty vehicles.

    + Own tool set and understanding of mechanical component interactions.

    + Ability to work on body and chassis modifications and attachments.

    Work Environment

     

    Day shift opportunity from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Minimal overtime is required, fostering a balanced work-life environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temple, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $44.00/hr.
