    Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Technician to assist in high-quality production. This role requires a technical skill set combined with solid soft skills and a keen interest in aerospace-related hardware. The position will be located on-site at a manufacturing facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform inspection according to mechanical drawings and/or IPC specifications.

    + Document material flow through MRB (non-conformance) and IQC (incoming quality control).

    + Maintain dashboard presentations.

    + Identify and document defects, communicating issues with the production and quality teams.

    + Create and maintain rework instructions.

    + Study, understand, and teach product quality standards to production line assembly operators.

    + Provide mechanical measurement support to identify potential supplier, design, or manufacturing issues.

    + Perform incoming material inspection on mechanical components and PBCAs.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in schematic reading and the ability to interpret circuit diagrams.

    + Capability to identify components that should be populated or missing.

    + Understanding of basic electronic components such as resistors and capacitors.

    + Experience in IPC-A-610 certification, whether valid or expired.

    + Familiarity with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

    + Computer experience and microscope usage.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience using quality measurement tools (gauges, calipers, scales, OMM, etc.).

    + Experience with cosmetic inspection.

    + Strong communication skills within and outside of the direct team.

    + Experience with consumer electronic manufacturing processes.

    + Knowledge of spreadsheets and Google Slides.

    + Incredible attention to detail.

    + Quality champion mindset.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
