As the **3rd Shift Production Lead** (10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday), you’ll guide a dedicated team, ensure smooth operations, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. If you thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoy coaching others, this role puts you at the center of the action.

     

    • What You’ll Do

    + Oversee daily production operations and provide hands‑on shift supervision

    + Coordinate workflow and production expectations with supervisors

    + Assign tasks, set priorities, and lead daily communication meetings

    + Provide guidance on workflow and best manufacturing practices

    + Troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles

    + Enforce SOPs, safety policies, and company standards

    + Implement 5S and Lean systems across the production area

    + Align floor operations with company goals and management objectives

    + Lead continuous improvement initiatives within production cells

    + Maintain visual management boards and performance tracking

    + Step into production roles when certified and needed

    + Train new employees on safety, processes, and performance expectations

    + Evaluate training progress and support employee development

    + Participate in interviews and assist supervisors with hiring decisions

    + Support performance reviews and coaching conversations

    • What You Bring

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Experience operating manufacturing equipment

    + Working knowledge of production/manufacturing environments (printed circuit industry preferred)

    + Understanding of production processes within assigned areas

    + Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, ERP systems)

    + Proven leadership experience and ability to guide a team

    • Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in the printed circuit industry

    + Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
