Job Title: Pipefitter** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter specializing in HVAC systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning applications. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for HVAC piping systems.

+ Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.

+ Install and secure pipes, fittings, and related components for HVAC systems.

+ Test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality.

+ Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other trades to complete installations and repairs.

+ Maintain compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

+ Troubleshoot and repair piping issues in existing HVAC systems.

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using pipe-fitting tools and equipment.

+ Strong understanding of HVAC systems and piping layouts.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

+ Knowledge of safety practices and building codes.

+ Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Welding experience is beneficial.

+ Experience with piping installations.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor job sites and may require working in varying temperatures and conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Malibu, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
