    •** **Position Summary

     

    Insulation Installers are responsible for installing a variety of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency, comfort, and safety. The role involves working with fiberglass, cellulose, spray foam, and other insulation products while following company standards and safety guidelines.

     

    •** **Key Responsibilities

    + Install insulation materials (fiberglass batts, blown-in cellulose, spray foam, etc.) in attics, walls, crawl spaces, and basements

    + Measure and cut insulation to fit around pipes, wires, and structural components

    + Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

    + Operate blowers, sprayers, and other installation machinery

    + Seal gaps, cracks, and joints using caulk, foam, or other air‑sealing products

    + Remove old or damaged insulation when required

    + Maintain clean and safe job sites

    + Follow OSHA and company safety procedures

    + Communicate with supervisors, homeowners, and contractors as needed

    + Complete daily paperwork, job logs, or digital reports

    •** **Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work in tight spaces, attics, and varying temperatures

    + Comfortable with ladders, power tools, and physical labor

    + Basic math and measurement skills

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

    + Valid driver’s license (often required)

    + Prior insulation or construction experience is helpful but not always required

    •️** **Physical Requirements

    + Lift 50+ pounds

    + Stand, kneel, crawl, and climb for extended periods

    + Work in dusty, hot, or cold environments

    + Wear PPE such as masks, gloves, and protective clothing

    •** **Typical Work Environment

    + Residential homes (new construction + existing homes)

    + Commercial buildings

    + Indoor/outdoor job sites

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
