    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical in maintaining an organized, smooth, and safe warehouse operation. Candidates must manage a two-hour lead time on all materials needed for the production floor, meeting high production goals each hour.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely operate forklifts to move and organize materials.

    + Engage in material handling tasks, including walking, cleaning, and manual handling for six hours of the shift.

    + Utilize warehouse management systems and engage in distribution tasks.

    + Perform packaging, inventory control, and order processing using RF scan guns.

    + Conduct quality control checks and maintain inventory records.

    + Handle heavy lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted.

    + Support overall system efficiency by balancing multiple processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience, preferably with stand-up electric forklifts.

    + Forklift certification and skills must be verified through references.

    + Experience with warehouse management systems and distribution tasks.

    + Ability to meet production goals and manage high-pressure situations.

    This is a Contract position based out of Colonial Heights, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.74 - $21.74/hr.
