    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team to work in a dynamic job shop environment. You will be responsible for CNC machining with mills on various metals, maintaining tight tolerances. The role involves running programs, performing machine setups, tear downs, changeovers, and tool changes. Additionally, you will operate Mazaks and other machine brands, using GD&T and reading blueprints daily to meet part specifications. Troubleshooting machine errors and upkeep will also be part of your responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CNC machines, focusing on mills, to maintain tight tolerances.

    + Run programs and perform machine setups, tear downs, changeovers, and tool changes.

    + Operate Mazaks and other machine brands.

    + Use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to meet part specifications.

    + Read and interpret blueprints daily.

    + Troubleshoot machine errors and perform necessary upkeep.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience operating, setting up, and programming CNCs in a job shop environment.

    + Experience with Mazak CNC Lathes.

    + Programming capabilities at the machine.

    + Experience with GD&T, working with tolerances tighter than Aeronautic and Medical Industries.

    + Knowledge of G & M Code (Machine Control Language).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Mazak Machines using Mazatrol Systems.

    + Conversational (Machine Control Language).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
