Job Title: Welder
Job Description
Set up welder (torch tip, filler rod, and flux) according to blueprints and the type of thickness of the metal. Read and follow blueprints to assemble the correct product, grind welds, and use an overhead crane to move the product. Quality checks are required, and the candidate will be cross-trained in other departments such as operations.
Responsibilities
+ Set up welding equipment according to specifications and metal thickness.
+ Read and follow blueprints to assemble products accurately.
+ Grind welds to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Operate overhead cranes to move products safely.
+ Perform quality checks to maintain high standards.
+ Be willing to work in other departments, such as machine operation, when welding work is completed.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 6 months of welding experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple departments.

Work Environment
The role is based in a production environment where steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are mandatory. Expect to work in a dirty area where safety is a priority.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
