    Job Title: Shipping Associate** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Associate, where you will be responsible for the physical handling and management of various materials in a warehouse setting. This role requires physical endurance and the ability to operate various equipment for efficient order processing.

    Responsibilities

    + Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-50 lbs consistently.

    + Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods while performing duties.

    + Utilize computers for data entry and tracking of inventory.

    + Operate step ladders and read location labels accurately.

    + Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, and other materials.

    + Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely to transport materials.

    + Use proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners to track and locate orders.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

    + Ability to perform manual labor, including heavy lifting and handling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with shrink wrapping and pallet jacks.

    + Familiarity with RF scanners.

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Military experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

    Work in a clean, organized warehouse with five different levels. Enjoy a quiet atmosphere where you can listen to music. The schedule runs from Monday to Saturday, with lower expectations on Saturday. Employees receive two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
