Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment. You will need to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, vacuum seal systems, overhead cranes, and various other machinery. The position requires expertise in reading ladder logic and troubleshooting PLCs, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase systems.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum seal systems.

+ Maintain and repair overhead cranes, lamination equipment, gel coating machines, CNC trimmers, and sensored conveyors.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase systems.

+ Perform basic PLC troubleshooting, including reading ladder logic and troubleshooting relays, switches, and sensors.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.

+ Mechanical maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.

+ Electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and using a multimeter.

+ Ability to troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase systems.

+ Basic PLC troubleshooting skills.

+ Physical ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Welding and fabrication experience.

+ Certifications, degrees, or completed courses in a skilled trade.

+ Bilingual in English and Spanish.

+ Ability to conduct in-depth troubleshooting and program or edit PLCs.

Work Environment

This position is for the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 11pm to 7:30am, with a $3/hour shift premium. The work environment includes strong odors such as acetone, resin, and fiberglass in certain areas. Personal protective equipment, including white tie-back suits, gloves, and respirators, is provided. The temperature in some areas remains at a consistent 85 degrees to facilitate the setting up of gel coat and fiberglass. The operation is divided into four areas: wet side, wood room, dry side, and shipping/receiving.

This is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $81120.00/yr.
