    Job Title: Pump Mechanic** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rebuilding pump ends, performing light diesel engine repairs, and ensuring the proper maintenance and servicing of fleet equipment. This role involves both on-site and in-shop repairs, as well as preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

    Responsibilities

    + Rebuild pump ends and perform light diesel engine repairs.

    + Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.

    + Perform on-site repairs or service at customer's locations.

    + Inspect fleet equipment for possible damages and diagnose issues.

    + Create accurate and legible parts and repair lists for assigned fleet equipment.

    + Review parts lists with the Operations Manager and obtain approval for servicing and repair.

    + Repair damaged equipment and test for proper operational quality.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and shop equipment.

    + Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and pump problems.

    + Perform diagnostic checks as necessary.

    + Assist with system setup on customer job sites as needed.

    + Deliver equipment as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

    + Proficiency in preventive maintenance and field service operations.

    + Ability to perform diagnostic testing and electrical service.

    + Welding skills are an advantage.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3-5 years of experience or education relevant to the position.

    + Possession of basic hand tools.

    + Preferred experience in equipment rental.

    + Familiarity with brands like John Deere, Caterpillar, and Deutz is advantageous.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
