Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This role supports essential accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial transactions and timely reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Record and manage daily cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Set up and manage project accounts in the accounting system, including processing necessary documentation.

• Assist with monthly billing processes by coordinating with project teams and utilizing online platforms.

• Support accounts receivable activities, including collections and maintaining proper documentation.

• Contribute to quarterly and year-end tax filings, including Federal, State, L& I, and W-2 forms.

• Maintain and update accounting records using software such as QuickBooks and Sage 100.

• Provide administrative support for accounting operations and documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 + bonus.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage 100.

• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience processing invoices and managing billing operations.

• Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry.

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
