Description
As an HR Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top talent to help build successful teams within the organization. You will leverage sourcing strategies, conduct interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience and a seamless recruitment process. You’ll also support broader organizational initiatives focused on culture, pay equity, benefits customization, and hybrid workforce management. (Source: DFST2025 - Midyear Update.pdf)
Key Responsibilities
+ Source, screen, and evaluate candidates for open positions, utilizing job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
+ Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
+ Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
+ Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, and communicating with candidates.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation of all candidate communications and selection decisions.
+ Support strategic HR initiatives such as diversity hiring, employer branding, and onboarding programs.
+ Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and evolving HR policies.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies.
Requirements
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
+ Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition is strongly desired.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
