Key Responsibilities

+ Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure-native services

+ Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data

+ Develop and optimize data solutions using:

+ Azure Data Factory

+ Azure Synapse Analytics

+ Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)

+ Azure Databricks

+ Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance

+ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders

+ Implement data modeling strategies for analytics and reporting

+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and workflows

+ Apply best practices for data governance, security, and compliance

+ Automate data processes using Python, SQL, and Spark

+ Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code where applicable

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles

+ Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services

+ Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts

+ Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse

+ Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)

+ Strong scripting skills in Python

+ Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems

+ Understanding of data warehousing and analytics architectures

+ Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize performance
