    Robert Half Office Team (Dayton, OH)


    Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, ensuring smooth communication and efficient handling of administrative tasks. This contract position is expected to last for a minimum of 30 days, with potential for extension.

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously.

    • Maintain phone coverage throughout business hours to support seamless communication.

    • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with clients and colleagues.

    • Organize and file documents systematically for easy retrieval.

    • Operate fax machines to send and receive important documents efficiently.

    • Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments and individuals.

    • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of outgoing mail.

    • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

    • Greet visitors and assist with inquiries in a friendly and attentive manner. Requirements • Proven experience handling inbound telephone calls in a detail-oriented environment.

    • Strong ability to maintain phone coverage during operational hours.

    • Familiarity with proper phone etiquette and customer service practices.

    • Proficiency in organizing and managing paper filing systems.

    • Competence in using fax machines to send and receive documents.

    • Experience in distributing mail within an office environment.

    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
