Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. This is a Contract to Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal industry. The role involves working closely with clients and team members to ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare and record accounting entries with precision.

• Handle invoices and maintain detailed financial records.

• Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide support.

• Collaborate with the real estate team to manage financial documentation.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Maintain organized documentation for audits and reviews.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic mathematical skills.

• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to perform accurate bank and account reconciliations.

• Detail-oriented approach to managing financial records and documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
