Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in South Gate, California. This position offers a Contract to permanent opportunity within the industrial sector, providing a chance to grow professionally while contributing to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in billing and a strong ability to manage and organize financial data accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

• Verify billing data for completeness and ensure all necessary information is included.

• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Maintain organized records of all transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Update and manage billing systems to reflect current account statuses.

• Generate reports on billing activities and provide insights to management.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to billing.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.

• Identify and implement improvements in the billing process for increased efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a billing or similar financial role.

• Proficiency in billing software and tools.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

• Excellent communication skills for resolving discrepancies and liaising with clients.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with industrial sector billing practices is a plus.

• Solid organizational skills to maintain accurate transaction records.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
