Job Ad: Payroll Clerk – Contract Position

Robert Half is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk for a contract assignment with one of our trusted clients. In this role, you’ll support payroll operations and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of employee compensation processes.

Responsibilities:

+ Process employee time records, attendance, and payroll transactions.

+ Assist with weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll runs.

+ Reconcile payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate payroll documentation.

+ Support payroll tax filings and reporting requirements.

+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefit issues.

+ Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Requirements

+ Prior experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar payroll position.

+ Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Excellent attention to detail, data entry, and organizational skills.

+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

+ Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.
