Description

Our company is seeking a skilled Accountant for a contract role with hands-on experience in NetSuite. This is an excellent opportunity to support our accounting operations and drive process improvements during a critical period. Candidates must be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform daily and monthly accounting functions, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

+ Oversee transactional accounting in NetSuite: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives.

+ Generate and analyze financial statements, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrections.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and optimize NetSuite utilization.

+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

+ Respond to ad-hoc accounting requests as needed.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Proven professional accounting experience (2+ years preferred), including recent NetSuite usage.

+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).

+ Proficiency with NetSuite ERP (mandatory); familiarity with additional tools like Excel is a plus.

+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
