Description

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will focus on auditing financial statements, preparing tax returns, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for candidates eager to grow their career in accounting within a CPA firm.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits on various sections of financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Prepare detailed and accurate financial statements for clients.

• Compile critical components of financial statements for reporting purposes.

• Assist in the preparation of income and individual tax returns.

• Perform account and bank reconciliations to maintain proper financial records.

• Support the team in executing essential accounting functions and entries.

• Collaborate with clients on-site as needed to complete audit tasks.

• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend adjustments.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and practices during audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

• 0-1 years of experience in accounting or auditing.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and audits.

• Familiarity with income and individual tax return preparation.

• Proficiency in performing bank and account reconciliations.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to travel occasionally for client site visits.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
