Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in San Jose, California. This Contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization by managing key financial processes. The ideal candidate will excel in handling accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Manage commercial collections, including follow-ups and resolving discrepancies.

• Apply cash payments and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle billing functions and ensure invoices are prepared and delivered promptly.

• Communicate with clients to address payment issues and foster positive relationships.

• Generate reports detailing accounts receivable activities and financial status.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Maintain organized documentation and adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Identify opportunities for improving accounts receivable processes and implement solutions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.

• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash applications.

• Proficiency in billing functions and managing payment processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial discrepancies.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.
