Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Staff member to join our team in Visalia, California. In this role, you will handle a variety of tax preparation tasks, including individual and corporate returns, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Utilize tax software, including CCH ProSystem Fx, to streamline tax preparation processes.

• Conduct research on tax issues to provide accurate and informed solutions.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and client expectations.

• Maintain organized records and documentation for audit purposes.

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and resolve inquiries.

• Review and analyze financial statements to identify tax implications.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Assist in improving processes and workflows for tax preparation tasks.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Knowledge of individual and corporate tax preparation processes.

• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx or similar tax software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Willingness to stay current with evolving tax laws and practices.
