    Role Summary:

    The Senior Director of** **Quality Management System Health and Capability** **leads the strategy and execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the enterprise. This role is responsible for driving maturity and ongoing support of the process owner network, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance throughout Lilly’s GxP operations. The Senior Director partners globally to implement solutions that achieve operational excellence and foster a strong culture of quality** **.

    Key Objectives/Deliverables:

    + Lead and facilitate the implementation of the QMS strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

    + Drive substantial changes to organizational culture and employee engagement for the QMS to meet quality expectations.

    + Support and mature the process owner network, ensuring ongoing development, engagement, and accountability for QMS processes.

    + Oversee capacity planning for capabilities required to drive QMS strategies and initiatives, aligned with pipeline growth and commercial product expansion.

    + Leverage the collection, analysis, and stewardship of quality data to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities for QMS improvement.

    + Lead the assessment, development, and alignment to cross-functional transformational projects supporting continual improvement of global quality systems.

    + Oversee delivery of prioritized projects, track key performance indicators, and report progress on process and system excellence.

    + Facilitate rapid adoption of compliant approaches to support enterprise innovations, ensuring quality compliance for new modalities.

    + Build effective partnerships and processes across organizations and functions.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree - Preferred degree in business or life sciences

     

    Minimum 15 years of experience with 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry

    Additional Preferences:

    + Expertise in cGxP’s across research and development and commercial manufacturing

    + Demonstrated strategic thinking, learning agility, analytical skill, and complex analysis.

    + Experience in leading strategic and business planning activities.

    + Demonstrated leadership acumen, including project leadership.

    + Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders; navigate complex issues and find common ground.

    + Strong collaboration, negotiation, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence across a broad range of levels, functions, and stakeholders, including technical writing and executive-level materials.

    Additional Information:

    + Ability to travel 0-10% (domestic and internationally)

     

    Desired location of this role is onsite at Indianapolis, IN with the ability to work from home 4 days per month; alternate Lilly locations will be considered based on availability and approval of hosting site.

    Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

     

    $156,000 - $228,800

     

    Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
