    RESPONSIBILITIES :

    + Provide instruction to individual and small groups of students.

    + Assist students, under the direction of the teacher, in the safe use of construction materials.

    + Utilize personal skills to assist in the instructional program as directed by the teacher.

    + Provide the teacher with information about the students that will assist in the development of appropriate learning activities.

    + Implementation of behavior modification and other data collection.

    + Participate in professional development activities as directed by administration.

    Job Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must hold a valid NYS Level I, II, or III Teaching Assistant Certification or NYS Teacher Certification

    QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED :

    + Evidence of successful experience working with children with disabilities

    + Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
