    A growing and fast-paced distribution organization in Carlsbad is seeking a detail-driven Order Entry Processor to support high-volume sales operations. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless coordination between customers, sales teams, and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate thrives in structured environments, values precision, and understands how accurate data entry impacts customer satisfaction and operational success.

     

    Role Overview

     

    The Order Entry Processor will be responsible for entering, reviewing, and maintaining customer orders within the company’s ERP system while ensuring pricing, quantities, shipping details, and timelines are accurate. This role serves as a key liaison between sales, warehouse, and customer service teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Accurately enter and process customer orders in ERP/order management systems

    + Review orders for pricing accuracy, product availability, and delivery timelines

    + Communicate with sales representatives regarding discrepancies or special requests

    + Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment

    + Maintain and update customer records, pricing files, and product data

    + Process order changes, cancellations, and returns as needed

    + Generate order confirmations and documentation for customers

    + Support month-end reporting related to order volume and fulfillment

    + Adhere to internal controls and data accuracy standards

    Requirements

    + High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)

    + 2+ years of order entry, data entry, or administrative support experience

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    + Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools

    + Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
