Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller for a contract opportunity with one of our valued healthcare clients. As a Medical Biller, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and payers.

+ Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness.

+ Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.

+ Maintain patient records and billing documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

+ Work closely with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to clarify coding and coverage.

+ Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation of billing accounts.

Requirements

+ Previous experience in medical billing or a similar healthcare finance role.

+ Familiarity with medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and insurance processes.

+ Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Excellent communication skills and commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
