    Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Southlake, Texas, on a contract basis with the potential for a long-term position. This role offers an opportunity to work in the real estate and property management industry, contributing to the financial operations of a portfolio of senior living properties. The position involves a mix of in-office and hybrid work after the initial training period.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage financial transactions for a portfolio of 20-30 senior living properties, ensuring accurate data entry and recordkeeping.

    • Utilize accounting software, including RealPage Onesite, to process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

    • Prepare and process invoices for payment, adhering to company policies and deadlines.

    • Conduct audits of property financial accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.

    • Perform bank reconciliations and address variances between actual and budgeted figures.

    • Generate and distribute required financial reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

    • Communicate effectively with property managers to resolve financial queries and provide necessary support.

    • Research and analyze financial data to address issues and improve processes.

    • Maintain an organized workflow while meeting strict deadlines and exercising sound judgment.

    • Apply attention to detail to all tasks, ensuring high-quality and error-free results. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Proficiency in accounting software, with familiarity in RealPage Onesite being highly preferred.

    • Strong knowledge of Excel, including formulas, as well as Outlook and Word.

    • Background in property accounting or real estate finance is advantageous.

    • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage financial variances.

    • Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.

    • Effective communication skills for collaborating with property managers and team members.

    • Capacity to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
