Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Remote Litigation Paralegal (Part-Time)

Hours: 10–20 per week (with potential for more as workload increases)

Compensation: $30+/hour (depends on experience)

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with litigation matters, including drafting and proofreading legal documents.

+ Prepare and manage Tables of Authorities.

+ Provide support for various matters including estate planning and small business transactions, ensuring documentation is precise and complete.

+ Draft and send engagement letters to clients.

+ Manage calendaring for deadlines and court dates.

+ File documents in New York and Connecticut courts (knowledge of e-filing systems required).

Qualifications

+ Litigation experience is a MUST (minimum 3 years preferred).

+ Strong proofreading and document review skills.

+ Experience with NY court filing systems.

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.

+ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Requirements • Proven experience in civil litigation, including discovery and trial preparation.

• Proficiency in e-filing procedures and court filings.

• Strong knowledge of compiling and organizing Table of Authorities.

• Familiarity with litigation calendars and case management software.

• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Understanding of legal processes related to wills and small business transactions.
