Description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Art Director for a fixed-term contract to support a major global consumer health brand. This position offers an exciting blend of big-picture conceptual thinking and hands-on creative execution across digital, video, social, and e-commerce channels.

In this role, you’ll drive creative projects from brief through delivery: originating ideas, guiding adaptation at scale, and ensuring all creative meets a high standard—while navigating the complexities of a regulated industry. It’s ideal for an art director who thrives in fast-paced teams, collaborates effectively, and consistently elevates creative across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead visual direction across digital, video, social media, and e-commerce projects

+ Translate briefs into compelling concepts and executions

+ Maintain high visual standards across all deliverables

+ Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and creative leads

+ Develop original creative ideas for campaigns and ongoing activities

+ Prepare layouts, storyboards, moodboards, and visual systems

+ Oversee adaptation of content across multiple formats, platforms, and markets

+ Ensure creative ideas deliver consistent impact across channels

+ Shape creative for paid/organic social, display, video, online motion, and e-commerce initiatives

+ Steward brand visual identity and navigate regulatory requirements

+ Review work for accuracy, clarity, and compliance

+ Partner with strategy, account, and production teams, presenting work to clients and stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years’ experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer

+ Strong portfolio highlighting conceptual thinking and multichannel execution

+ Expertise in digital, video, social media, and e-commerce projects

+ Advanced visual design skills in layout, typography, and storytelling

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

+ Experience with consumer health or other regulated brands

+ Motion design skills or familiarity with motion workflows

+ Experience mentoring or guiding junior creatives

+ Familiarity with Figma and collaborative design tools
