Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Whippany, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoice processing, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are precise and up-to-date.

• Handle check runs, ensuring timely and correct payment processing.

• Apply proper coding to invoices to facilitate seamless integration into accounting systems.

• Conduct data entry tasks to maintain organized and accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payment processes.

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data.

• Generate regular reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and account reconciliation.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to accurately code invoices and maintain organized financial records.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy.

• Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
