Description We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position is a contract-to-permanent opportunity within the non-profit sector, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact while developing your administrative expertise. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to supporting office operations and client services.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support by organizing documents, maintaining schedules, and assisting with correspondence.
• Answer incoming calls with attention to detail and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks to ensure the integrity of records and reports.
• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, managing receptionist duties with a welcoming attitude.
• Support program operations by coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and ensuring smooth communication.
• Assist with tracking and compiling program data for reporting purposes.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and streamline office processes.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to support growth and alignment with organizational goals.
• Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned to support the success of the program. Requirements
• Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in data entry and office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain schedules and support program operations.
• Experience answering inbound calls and managing receptionist duties.
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team efforts.
