    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Austintown, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records to support the organization's operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone skilled in bookkeeping and financial management to contribute to a dynamic environment.

    Requirements

    + Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

    + Process invoices, payments, and expense reports

    + Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts

    + Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

    + Prepare and post journal entries

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

    + Generate financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets

    + Track and manage payroll data and related filings, as applicable

    + Maintain vendor and customer records

    + Support audits and provide requested documentation

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

    + Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

    + Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
