Senior Property Accountant – Commercial Real Estate

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Property Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting for a two-building commercial property undergoing major renovations and upgrades. This is a hands-on role with exposure to property operations, lease administration, and project accounting—plus strong opportunities for growth as the portfolio expands.

What You’ll Do

+ Manage full-cycle property accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting

+ Set up new and renewal leases in MRI/PMX and assist with lease administration

+ Prepare construction draws and monitor project-related costs

+ Handle accounting for leasing commissions, tenant improvements, and capital projects

What We’re Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

+ 3+ years of commercial property accounting experience (preferred)

+ Proficiency with MRI (web version/PMX) strongly preferred

+ Strong understanding of lease structures, tenant billings, and CAM reconciliations

+ Highly organized, proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
