    Description

    Robert Half has a brand new opening for a Data Analytics Engineer with a reputable client in Sarasota, FL.

     

    Position kicks off remotely during office renovation, then becomes a Hybrid schedule once renovation is completed. (Candidate must be local)

    Core Responsibilities

    + Lead software/hardware upgrade projects

    + Design & automate ELT/ETL pipelines (Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows)

    + Ensure data accuracy w/ validation tools (Delta Live Tables, expectations/testing)

    + Support/maintain cloud + on-prem data systems

    + Governance via Unity Catalog + policy compliance

    + Develop and document data models using Python, PowerShell, PySpark, SQL

    + Provide technical training + internal customer support

    + Participate in on-call rotation (24/7 support when needed)

    Requirements

    Top Required Skills

    + Strong production support across data pipelines, system interfaces, Databricks administration, and ETL data stores

    + PowerShell & T-SQL (MS SQL Server)

    + Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills

    + Customer-facing – strong communication & relationship building

     

    Nice-to-Have / Preferred

     

    + Advanced scripting (Python, PowerShell, T-SQL)

    + Ability to multitask, prioritize, operate with minimal supervision

    + Experience w/ Azure DevOps, Purview, Databricks admin, lineage & governance

    + Strong customer service background
