Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee and improve financial operations within our organization. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail and leadership skills to manage accounting processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing budgets, reconciling accounts, and preparing accurate financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are consistent and properly documented.

• Conduct thorough account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Lead financial statement audits by coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.

• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and improve reporting processes.

• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with other departments to support organizational financial goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management/oversight roles.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and preparation of journal entries.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and coordinate across departments.

• Familiarity with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
