Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in accounting or finance who possess strong organizational and data entry skills. You will play a key role in supporting tax preparation processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Utilize Drake Tax Software to complete tax-related tasks and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Scan and organize financial documents to maintain a streamlined workflow.

• Perform data entry tasks to input and verify tax-related information.

• Assist in maintaining office organization to support day-to-day operations.

• Apply knowledge of finance and tax practices to support efficient tax preparation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all deadlines and requirements are met. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience or education in accounting or finance.

• Proficiency in tax preparation processes and individual tax returns.

• Familiarity with Drake Tax Software or similar tax preparation tools.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and document scanning.

• Knowledge of basic tax practices and compliance standards.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
