Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks and collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to full-cycle accounting processes and leverage your expertise in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to prepare and review financial reports and statements.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in QuickBooks.

• Handle intercompany accounting processes, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.

• Monitor and maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.

• Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting workflows.

• Respond to inquiries regarding financial data and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting principles.

• Familiarity with intercompany accounting processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
