Description We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Irvine, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and seamless patient experiences. The ideal candidate is skilled in medical terminology, patient check-in processes, and has a background in customer service or retail.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients during check-in, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

• Verify medical insurance details and address any questions or concerns patients may have about coverage.

• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth communication and patient care delivery.

• Utilize electronic health record systems to update patient information and maintain accurate records.

• Provide guidance to patients regarding scheduling, appointments, and follow-up care.

• Handle inquiries professionally, ensuring patient satisfaction and addressing concerns in a timely manner.

• Maintain a welcoming and organized environment within the clinic to enhance the patient experience.

• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and inventory management as needed.

• Foster positive relationships with patients and staff to promote a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Requirements • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in retail or healthcare settings.

• Familiarity with basic medical terminology and patient care procedures.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and general computer applications such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends.
