Description We are looking for a skilled Fund Accountant to join our team in Plano, Texas. This long-term contract position requires someone with strong attention to detail who can oversee financial compliance, prepare accurate reports, and manage complex accounting tasks. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization while expanding your expertise in fund accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure compliance with investment restrictions and regulations governing the fund.

• Calculate and manage distributions accurately in accordance with established guidelines.

• Prepare financial projections and billing statements with attention to detail.

• Generate monthly financial statements and related reports to meet organizational standards.

• Analyze and document fund performance, providing insights for strategic planning.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely delivery of financial data.

• Monitor fund activities and resolve discrepancies when identified.

• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

• Support the preparation of annual reports and other financial documentation as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in fund accounting or a similar financial role.

• Strong understanding of compliance requirements in investment management.

• Proficiency in preparing financial projections and billing statements.

• Expertise in generating monthly financial statements and related reports.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
